Abu Dhabi I.

Abu Dhabi as a city that grew out of the desert, like flowers after the rain. The flowers were inspired by the ornaments used in the Magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
The structured artwork captures the joyful atmosphere of the garden's vibrant colours after the rain, an influx of new energy. A garden of Rainbow Lilies, Pink and Yellow Roses, Red and Blue Daisies, and Cobalt Blue Amaryllis bloomed against the beige and golden shades.
"Abu Dhabi I." is part of the artist's "Around the World" collection, which presents interesting cities or entire countries from a higher perspective. The abstract structure of the streets themselves is sometimes complemented by figurative painting, gilding or gemstones.
